niche market, but no one talks about how you find a profitable product to
sell to your niche.
Yet without a product, you have no business.

Once you have defined your niche market, you need a product to sell.
More importantly, you need to find a product that people in your niche
want to buy.

Finding a product that the people in your niche want to buy is a two-
step process, which we outline in the rest of this article.
Step One – Identify The Ten Biggest Problems That
People In Your Niche Market Want To Solve
This step requires you to do some research on your niche market. To
conduct this research you will need to go to forums, blogs, and social
websites such as MySpace and FaceBook, and Google Groups to find
out what problems people in your niche market are seeking solutions too.
On a separate piece of paper, write down every question people are
asking in your niche. You will discover that many of the questions center on
a common problem. You should group all the questions about a common problem together.
Next, identify the top ten problems. From your list of ten, identify the top three problems in your niche market. You
want to build your business around these three problems.
One of the things you will discover is that the top three problems in any niche market are never solved. People are
always looking for a better and easier way to solve these problems. You now want to find a product that solves
anyone of these three problems.
Step Two – Find An Affiliate Program That Solves One Of The Top Three Problems
In Your Niche
You can research affiliate programs manually or purchase tools that will do it for you. Although I prefer to use tools to
do the work for me because it will save days of work, you can do it manually by using the following process.
Go to Google Search and type in your ‘niche + affiliate’. The search results will return a list of affiliate programs for
you to review. From that list, you are searching for programs that solve one of the three largest problems facing your
niche market.
Your goal is to find the right product for your niche business to sell. The only way to accomplish that is to look at
the sales page of each affiliate program. Because other online niche businesses are also selling these programs, you
need to separate the affiliates from the actual product. If you click on their affiliate link, it should take you directly to
the sales page for the niche product.
If you want to save hours of work and use a tool that will do this research for you, we recommend two programs.
